I hope I have enough info to see what I'm doing wrong and sorry if it something easy and I'm over looking something. Is there another location in the forge file system I need to change for this to take effect. Tired to do this for the forge version and there is no java file but under the txt file i see that it loads the 1.10.2 java files ( which is why i did step two) I tried opening the java file (with 7-ZIP) for minecraft V1.10.2 and going under the textures-> Entity and then putting the skin i want for my in game skin. This might have been brought up already but I can't find anything on it and tried looking at some videos but they all talk about craked version but here goes.
